We’re slated for some of the coldest December weather in a century this weekend here in Connecticut. That, of course, is no reason to sacrifice style. And with the Jewel Silk Scarves Jamevar Black Wool Scarf, you can be stylish and warm at the same time.
We previously reviewed the Jewel Silk Scarves Jamevar Black Wool Scarf Poncho Shawl, which we love and use all the time. This scarf is the same beautiful, intricate paisley pattern. It is also reversible – one side is a warm black, the other a cool silver, so you can always match your outfit. It measures a generous 14″ x 70″, allowing you to wrap it around your neck a few times or let it hang dramatically long.
The scarf is made of 100% Merino Wool that is Eco-Sustainable and is handmade. The scarf is also hypoallergenic, which is fantastic for me. My neck gets itchy incredibly fast from some wools, but this wool is soft and non-irritating. It is finished with exquisite detail and holds up quite well despite my frequent use of late.
The scarf is highly versatile. Because it is made of luxurious Merino Wool, it is warm enough to brave cold outside weather, but because of the beautiful artistry, it can also be worn as an accessory indoors. If like me, you spend parts of your days in a freezing cold high-tech conference room, this is an excellent way to add style to an outfit and stay a little warmer during the day. Despite its warmth, it is also lightweight, so it’s great for trips to the store or at a restaurant.
I am thrilled to find another wonderful piece from this collection. It makes for a great gift for any woman, especially yourself!
