I had heard of HauteLook.com before, but didn’t make my first purchase until their current Stila Cosmetics sale – incredible sets and individual items are reduced to incredibly low prices. And the deal is sweetened by the fact that if you sign up through the link above, you’ll get a $10 credit to use on your first purchase. There is only nine hours left on the Stila sale, but they run different sales everyday – and there are some pretty incredible designers coming up in the next couple of weeks.

Shoe Saturday: Marc by Marc Jacobs 693954
OK, the reason this is on Sunday is because it took me a good 24 hours to stop playing “Wonder Woman goes to the Ball” daydreams in my head after seeing these Marc by Marc Jacobs 693954 heels. The “Pow!” stars on the vamp and bold star on the heel will have you reaching for your Lasso of Truth in no time…

Shoe Saturday: Steven By Steve Madden Bianna Ankle Wrap Thong
Another warm day in the East – strappy sandals might still be a few months away, but never too early to shop…
Check out these Steven By Steve Madden Women’s Bianna Ankle Wrap Thong. With it’s coral-like beading, they’d be great for a casual Sunday brunch. And don’t forget to get a pedicure to show off…

Shoe Saturday: Nine West Women’s Blondey Boot
Even though the weather has been warm in the East, we still have some winter ahead of us. And if it stays non-icy, you can wear 3 1/2 inch heels without worrying about slipping!
Check out these Nine West Blondey Boots. They are synthetic with a man-made sole, so if you don’t wear leather, these are definitely for you. They add a great pop of color to an outfit – and are available in various shades of gray and black if you prefer.
Christian Dior Spring 2009 Couture Collection highlights and makeup trends
Dior gave us a collection that would have made Marie Antoniette envious – lavish full skirts, sweet blushes and ice blues, and vibrant, tropical makeup. The makeup choices sort of strikes me as reminiscent of 1890’s Paris (think Toulouse-Lautrec paintings) but with pinks, blues, and tangerines.
As far as the collection itself, I particularly adore this little number – fulfilling all my fantasies of a wedding dress that I wouldn’t trip on, but isn’t as short in front as Stephanie Seymour’s in the “November Rain” video. The particular shades of blue really evoke Spring, and the styling of the skirt is both sweet and sophisticated.
I hope some of the intensely pigmented makeup catches on (and if the Spring Nars and shu uemura collections are any indication, I think we will be seeing far more of these beautiful shades). Â If you like the shades that look like they were plucked right from a summer garden, here’s a couple of Liptini shades you’ll want to try. Of course, the stains can be used on both cheeks and lips – be sure to add the stain to your cheeks right after putting on moisturizer, as you’ll have plenty of time to blend before they set.
– Tini Beauty Liptini Cordial Shimmering Lip & Cheek Tint in Framboise – the most perfect raspberry pink.
-Tini Beauty Liptini Cordial Shimmering Lip & Cheek Tint Sloe Gin Fizz – somewhere between a sweet tangerine and a ginger red – but works with every skin tone. I love using both Sloe Gin Fizz and Framboise as a subtle blush.
-Liptini Straight Up Color Lipstick Grenadine – an intense pink that doesn’t overpower, just makes your lips look fantastic.
– Liptini Straight Up Color Lipstick Bloody Mary – a classic blue based red that is perfectly daytime friendly when applied with a lip brush or blotted (like your lips but better), or 1940’s starlet with a couple of coats. And it’s a perfect red for Spring, since there aren’t brown or gray undertones.
