MY EXPERIENCE: PUTTING AUROTRENDS TO THE TEST

I like thick, black mascara and liquid top-liner, I always wear sunscreen and primer, Vitamin C serum, and hard-to-remove lip stains, and use a setting spray to keep my makeup lasting as long as possible. This requires more effort to remove the makeup and sunscreen. My skin is also somewhat sensitive and I try my best not to pull on or rub my lashes, brows and delicate eye skin when removing makeup.

USE: I wet the towel, and gently massage my face in a circular motion to remove makeup. Once the makeup is off, I flip the cloth over and go over my face another time to wash non-makeup oil and dirt. There was no excess rubbing and my face didn’t feel any residual or dry or irritated after use.

I also tested out AuroTrends with a few makeup items that I typically find difficult to remove, including a BB cream, a mineral makeup foundation, a long-wearing eyeliner, lipstain and Dermablend brand concealer with the setting powder. To avoid excess rubbing, for my eye makeup, I set it on my closed eye for five seconds, just to be sure, but my makeup wiped right off gently with very little effort. If you use waterproof mascara, an oil-based makeup remover can be used with the AuroTrend Towel, even baby oil or safflower or coconut oil work. I find it faster and less messy than cotton pads and I didn’t have to use as much oil to get the job done.

I use Retinol and Vitamin C serum daily, with spot application of Salicylic Acid on blemishes. Retinol can leave skin flaky and requires some exfoliation to remove sloughed dead skin cells. It removed mineral-based makeup and foundation as well as a tough to remove lipstain that I typically remove with an oil.

FEEL
I love how soft my skin feels after use, and there’s no redness, tightness or irritation like I get from most scrubs. There was no film-like residue, it washes away clean. It didn’t sting or burn.

APPEARANCE & IMMEDIATE RESULTS
After use, my skin looks younger and softer. My skin glows!

I especially like the immediate improvement of my eleven lines that I saw even before rinsing off the product. I have a bad habit of furrowing my brow while working. After use, the eleven looked less deep and pronounced.
My chapped lips and surrounding areas smoothed out well, making it worthwhile for a pre-lipstick application go-to product.
Light reflects off of even surfaces free of dead skin, so “highlight” areas such as the upper cheekbone look younger and smoother.
Watching stubborn nose blackheads loosen and begin to purge just while lightly massaging the scrub over them was particularly gratifying.

RESULTS AFTER EVERY OTHER DAY USE
LOTS of dead skin came off, I was surprised how much. Exfoliate 2-3 times a week for best results, and always do so gently, the product does the work, no elbow grease needed.

After a few days use, the stubborn blackheads along my nose were quickly eliminated.
