Skincare serums can’t work their magic when their absorption is blocked by dull, dead skin cells. Dead skin cells also harbor bacteria and give acne a place to grow, So regular exfoliation is key. But sensitive skin types have a problem: topical serums like Vitamin C or retinols leave our skin irritated as it is, much less adding exfoliation on top. Can’t tolerate aHAs or other peels? Then we got the peel for you:Â Â Gelmersea Enzyme Peeling Gel.Â
We love Gelmersea Enzyme Peeling Gel because it is exceptionally effective but can be used daily. Mature and sensitive skin types especially benefit from fruit enzymes because dead skin comes off without rubbing and scrubbing.  It can even be used on more delicate skin areas such as around the mouth.
Skin looks its’ best with regular exfoliation. Gelmersea Enzyme Peeling Gel removes dead skin without irritation. It is perfect for acne-prone skin, sensitive skin, and mature skin because it cleanses, hydrates, and exfoliates. It is gentle enough to use twice a day.
But what I really love about this gel is it removes the rough, tired look of skin. The pandemic has left many of us feeling unkempt and a bit rough around the edges so to speak. This peeling gel quickly refines skin and removes that unpolished look, replacing it with healthy, smooth skin. It is spa-quality skin refinement.

What Makes It Special
Gelmersea is known as The Sensitive Skin Expert. This peel is approved by more than 1,000 beauty professionals and for good reason.
While a lot of peels can leave skin softer and younger-looking, many peels are drying to the skin. This peel actually hydrates.
Typically sensitive skin formulations aren’t as high-performance due to chemical limitations. Gelmersea gives an effective peel without harsh chemicals. It gets the job done using only natural ingredients.
Let’s take a look at this spa-worthy formulation:
key active ingredients
Aloe Barbadensis
Aloe Barbadensis Gel has an enzyme that repairs dead skin cells.
Aloe Vera heals the skin. It provides nourishment to the skin as it contains Vitamins A, C, Bs, and E as well as minerals and enzymes.
This skin “food†heals, hydrates, and accelerates skin cell growth. It provides anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties.
Papain Enzyme
Papaya helps breakdown and dissolve dead skin cells on the surface of the skin.
These enzymes gently digest keratinized dead epithelium cells on the skin’s surface. This reduces inflammation while maintaining protective lipid layers.
Pineapple Enzymes
Pineapple Fruit contains extracts that are effective natural exfoliants to slough off dead cells on the surface of the skin while imparting soothing skin benefits.
Panenthol
Panenthol is Vitamin B5.
Panenthol is moisture-binding and soothing,
Prickly Pear
Prickly Pear is a cactus fruit superfood packed with skin-enhancing nutrients.
It’s fatty acids including linoleic acid and oleic acid replenish lost skin lipids to moisturize and restore elasticity. Linoleic acid helps the skin stay hydrated.
It contains antioxidants, polyphenols, and Vitamin E. Its antimicrobial benefits reduce acne. [1]
As a carrier oil, it helps other active ingredients penetrate the skin. It also serves as a buffer for irritating ingredients. This is useful for sensitive skin types.
Chamomila Recutita Flower Extract
Chamomile is an antioxidant with potent skin-soothing action. [2]
It contains Terpenoids, bisabolol, and chamazulene. Chamomile Extract is excellent in a formulation with powerful actives because it contains flavones. These flavones inhibit the production of inflammation, even in deeper skin layers. [3]
Meanwhile, The apigenin in Chamomile protects the skin barrier. [4]. This gentle and hypoallergenic extract soothes skin, heals burns, and is great for helping skin recover and benefit from chemical peels.
Chamomile Extract also kills acne-causing bacteria while soothing the skin. [5]
the experience
Gelmersea Enzyme Peeling Gel has a very light fresh aloe and chamomile scent.
It is exceptionally gentle. It does not sting, and the skin is not red or irritated after use. I can use it right before applying makeup and it creates a silky smooth finish.
Unlike many peels, it hydrates the skin. This leaves skin looking and feeling wonderful.
Directions
Use daily. Massage a pump or two of gel on a dry face and neck in a circular motion for 1-2 minutes. The gel will liquefy dead skin cells and impurities. Rinse with water. I choose to work in sections: my forehead, my chin and jawline, nose, cheeks, and then throat.
The Results
From the first use, Gelmersea Enzyme Peeling Gel works quickly to slough off dead skin and sebum plugs. I hoped more stubborn blackheads on my nose would exfoliate away. They didn’t at first, but when I washed my face with Cerave that evening, blackheads began to rapidly purge. On my second use, they purged quickly. Meanwhile, I can barely keep my hands off my face because it feels so soft and smooth.
I love how it gives skin a softer, smoother, more refined look. Definitely softer and younger.
So much dead skin came off the first day, I didn’t expect much the next day. So I waited 2 days but it still managed to peel away even more dead skin. My skin felt amazingly smooth. It is gentle enough to use daily and very hydrating. I use it twice a week so dead skin cells have time to accumulate between uses.
I was very impressed with how well serums applied and absorbed after using Gelmersea Enzyme Peeling Gel.
It was so amazing on the face, I tried it on hands and cuticles. It works far better than hand or cuticle creams. Another impressive result was how it softens the horizontal wrinkles on the front of my throat – the ones that get worse with “tech neck”. And I absolutely love it for de-aging the decolletage area. It works on sensitive areas like around the lips without excess stinging.
We are SO SO impressed to be able to get spa-like results at home with this peeling gel!
Skin looks smoother, softer, younger, and more refined. There is NO irritation. NONE. I can apply makeup or my treating serums immediately after use. Even if you can tolerate higher aHAs, there is a place in your skin routine for Gelmersea Enzyme Peeling Gel.
