Obviously your outfit will dictate the color of your lipstick than the shoe in the case of the Prada Ruffle Sandals, but no matter what base color you use, add Liptini Topper Gloss in Blue Flame as a finishing touch. It’s subtle opal-blue warmth instantly transforms you into the 1940’s movie heroine who would have a closet full of those heels.

Shoe Saturday: Prada Ruffled Sandals
Are these Prada Ruffle Sandals over the top?
Nah. In fact I can think of four outfits off the top of my head that would justify me snatching them up. 🙂
Find them at Saks.com.
I don’t know why it works, but it does – how to minimize skin imperfections with a light layer of powder
From the files of “try it before you dismiss the idea”: Before you put on your base, add a super light layer of face powder, and you skin will appear flawless and glowing. I was skeptical when I first heard this tip a couple of weeks ago, but it works great. The trick is putting on the lightest coat possible – it’s not a matter of the more the better in this case.
I got really good results using this trick with La Mer Powder (I use Translucent) and T. LeClerc Translucide Pressed Powder – both of which have light-diffusing properties to start with, which adds and extra dose of skin-perfecting power.
Who knew, huh? 🙂

Shoe Saturday: Moschino Peep Toe Slingback Oxfords
You can pre-order these Moschino Peep Toe Slingback Oxfords now from Nordstrom. I love these – the slingback makes it a little more wearable than a full back.
