Despite the fact that I have a lot of coats, I can never find one that’s right for this time of year when one day you don’t need a coat at all, other days you need a lightweight wool coat, and a trench is fine on other days. The J. Crew Citronella Coat fits the bill on days that layering is key. With it’s 60’s appeal and Peter Pan colar, it is sharp on it’s own and compliments a lot of other J. Crew clothes – try it with a polo or even last year’s Striped Pique Polo dress.

In case you’d like a size reference on the J.Crew Cabochon Bouquet Cocktail Ring….
If you are interested in the J. Crew Cabochon Bouquet Cocktail Ring but would like to see the size on a hand (it’s hard to tell from the website picture) you can see it on a model on page 32 of the April catalog. And check out the rest of the catalog – I love the new items this month.
J.Crew Cabochon bouquet Cocktail ring
I’m really getting into J. Crew’s jewelry line of late – and the Cabochon bouquet cocktail ring caught my eye today. Around this time of year I start to really enjoy spring colors – greens, blues, tangerines, and who can overlook pink! This ring is really nice this time of year – the leaves aren’t out yet, but it’s still delicate and flowery – something to keep you until the flowers come out!
I have a beautiful Bosca purse that matches the lime color perfectly, so that’s probably why that color drew my attention – it kind of has a bit of a vintage jewelry look to it. Tidepool, the pool blue color, is a little more modern and fresh looking, but still looks delicate (come to think about it, I have a pool blue sweater it would be perfect for). and Bright Papaya, a bright rose, matches anything day to night. And that pink eyelet dress I have. Guess I’ll be getting all three. 🙂
Available at J. Crew for $65.
Things I Want: J.Crew Swiss-dot Fontana Dress
I thought this dress was pretty on the J.Crew website, but as I walked past it in the store yesterday, I stopped dead in my tracks – unfortunately what is so beautiful about this dress can’t really be conveyed in a picture. The structure is so youthful and spring-like, and the waist nips in beautifully with a cross-over bodice.
