Ah, nothing like autumn. The leaves falling, the luxurious fabrics, and your face getting raw from that first day that it is freezing, rainy, and windy. This year, I took care of that last part.
I’ve known about Liz Earle Intensive Nourishing Treatment Mask for awhile but did not test it out until a few weeks ago. I love the Liz Earle line, and I adore their Brightening Mask, so I was keen to try the Nourishing Treatment Mask when it was sent to me.
Liz Earle Intenstive Nourishing Treatment Mask is fantastic. It makes skin sooooo soft and evens out skintone issues due to dryness/redness in ten minutes flat. I love that you can move around in the mask too – it’s not like many facial masks that if you move, goop is going to get everywhere. It stays in place while you talk, move around, or just sit back with your eyes closed.
On cold morning when I’d rather stay under the warm covers, I’ve taken to negotiating with myself – I keep the mask on my nightstand, and when the alarm goes off and the urge to go back to sleep hits, I smooth the mask on. It feels good, so being awake is a little more tolerable. And it eventually gets me out of bed since I have to wash it off in 10-15 minutes.
I’m also a big fan of what Nourishing Treatment Mask does for throat skin – the mask makes throat skin soft, smooth and radiant. If you are in your early thirties, throat skin is one of those thing that you don’t notice as not looking like it did when you were 18 until you do something about it, and then you remember how good an area like your throat looked when you were younger. Much like foundation, facial masks shouldn’t stop at your jawline – make sure to give your thin neck skin the good treatment you give your face. And since Liz Earle Intensive Nourishing Treatment Mask contains Borage Oil to hydrate, it’s an ideal mask for throat and neck use!
The mask comes with one of Liz Earle’s amazing muslin cloths to wash it off with. I adore these muslin clothes – I would fill my closet with them if I could! They remove the mask cleanly and gently.
I really like using the mask after at-home glycolic peels. It hydrates the freshly exposed skin and soothes any irritation. And given that glycolic peels aren’t Then just wash it off, apply moisturizer, and admire your radiant skin!
Liz Earle Intensive Nourishing Treatment Mask really is fantastic. I really love the Liz Earle line, so expectations are always high when I try a new product of theirs. Nourishing Treatment Mask exceeded my expectations and I’ll definitely continue to use it…especially on mornings that require extreme self-negotiation to get up…
